playback
The main music playback interface of your SpotiStation is very simple. After booting, you should see album cover art of a song (perhaps with a paused
overlay on top of it).
In this mode, there are 4 main things a basic user can do
- Play or Pause the music with the
⏯️ play/pause button
- Adjust the volume with the
🔊 volume slider
- Skip the current song with
↕️ side button 1
(the one closest to you) - Switch to the next playlist with
↕️ side button 2
That's basically all there is to it!
Playback controls (play pause, skip, playlist) can also be controlled via other devices such as a mobile phone or tablet. So you can have music playing on the SpotiStation but pause it from your mobile phone.
If you press one of the ⏏️ back buttons
, you will put the player in 🔒 lock mode
. This will prevent any music playback until the next night-time cycle. This is a feature for administrators that can be used if a quiet day is required 😉. For more details consult the lock mode page
