Spline Editor (Shadow)

This page will guide you on using Heroes Power Plant's Spline Editor (Shadow) for working with splines for Shadow the Hedgehog.
Open the Shadow Spline Editor from the Level Editor -> Shadow Level menu item.
- Add: import a new spline from an OBJ file. You can export splines as OBJ from any 3d tool.
- Import: import an OBJ file over the currently selected spline.
- Copy: duplicate the selected spline.
- Export: export an OBJ file with the currently selected spline.
- View: place HPP's view at the selected spline.
- Remove: delete the currently selected spline.
When importing:
- The vertices in the file, in order, will be read as a spline.
- You can import multiple files at once.
- Point rotation is not set or imported from the OBJ, you must set it yourself.
- You can edit the spline's settings and data in the box below. Not much is known about Shadow splines yet.
- Splines are opened and saved from the Level Editor level, that's why you cannot open them separately in this tool (remember to save in the Level Editor after editing the splines).
