Importing DFF Files

The DFF Import menu can be found under File > Import > DragonFF DFF (.dff)
.
Option | Type | Description |
---|---|---|
Load TXD File | Boolean | The script will attempt to load from a texture |
Skip Mipmaps (TXD) | Boolean | Do not load mipmaps from TXD file |
Pack Images (TXD) | Boolean | Pack images as embedded data into the .blend file |
File name (TXD) | String | File name used for importing the TXD file. Leave blank if TXD name is same as DFF name |
Connect Bones | Boolean | Bones will be connected with one another (useful for animation and IK setup) |
Image extension | Enumeration | The script will search for textures in this extension. If set to "NONE" the script will neither search for textures, nor add a placeholder |
Read Material Split | Boolean | Whether to read material split for loading triangles |
Use Edge Split | Boolean | Add Edge Split modifier to mesh objects |
Import Custom Normals | Boolean | Use normals of the original model |
Group Similar Materials | Boolean | Do not create new materials if equal materials exist |
