Beta48 test release
This is a release candidate for the next stable version
Add Intellivision_60Hz profile
(50Hz should also work but will require a completely different way of connecting and a different profile)
Add support to use composite blanking instead of composite sync (used by Intellivision)
Beta47 test release
Beta47 test release
This is a release candidate for the next stable version
Fix regression that caused a hangup on auto reboot to change scaling
Beta46 test release
Beta46 test release
This is a release candidate for the next stable version
Fix bug that stopped resolutions of 1024x768 and lower from working at 16bpp
Add delays before reboot and changing clocks
Improve disable_overclock feature
Update firmware
Beta45 test release
Beta45 test release
This version is a release candidate for the next stable release which will be the first one to support the Pi zero 2W
Changes:
Finalise Pi4 support
Fix various regressions causing minor glitches on Pi zero
Add Enterprise profile (untested)
This version should work on all Pi versions except the original Model A & B with the 26 pin GPIO header although only the Pi zero / zeroW and zero 2W are tested regularly.
In order to provide full functionality the old Pi 1 and Pi2 models have to be overclocked so if your particular board can't handle that you can switch the overclocking off by editing config.txt and changing to 'auto_overclock=0' but some features may not work after that.
Beta44 test release
Beta44 test release
Changes:
Slightly improved mode7 calibration
Add Swedish computer ABC80, NEC PC-98 and Epson clones profiles
Fix garbage on right hand side of screen in teletext mode when using GPU capture
Merge support for Pi zero, zero2W, 1, 2 & 3 into one binary
Pi4 support now mostly working, only genlocking and screencaps not working yet.
Support old CPLDs in GPU capture mode
Beta43 test release
This is a major new release with full support for the Pi zero 2W (should also work on the Pi 2 and Pi 3 (all variants).
The capture side has been moved from the Arm processor to the GPU with a significant increase in performance which means that 12bpp support now works on the Pi zero 2W
Please test and report any issues
Beta42 test release
Add Pi zero 2W support:
NOTE: Currently 9bpp and 12bpp capture doesn't work with a Pi zero 2W. This is because reading the GPIOs is 25% slower than an original Pi Zero and there is insufficient time to capture the full 12bpp.
This means that the Amiga, Atari ST, NuLA and AppleIIGS profiles are hidden when a Pi zero 2W is used and a warning is shown on screen.
All other 1bpp, 3bpp and 6bpp profiles including Apple II/IIe/IIc still work on the Zero 2W
Ideas to work around this limitation on the Zero 2W are currently being investigated.
