Each user of emacs has an emacs.d and there may be several users on a single computer.
The various customization of the centralized emacs.d is by
- COMPUTER the machine
- USER the user on that machine
- BRANCH the production, testing, or devel part development or use process.
In the emacs.d/scripts/ directory are files named: COMPUTER-USER-BRANCH-user-startup.el
All the various configurations for ALL computers and ALL USERS are in the scripts directory.
Each user has an emacs chemacs2 configuration file which allows the launch of the various branches for that user.
