Python version 2 is now EOL for 11 years, so it should be safe to drop support for it. As python-future is not compatible with python 3.13 it is also desirable to actively patch it out. Signed-off-by: Christian Heusel <[email protected]>

Description
Python version 2 is now EOL for 11 years, so it should be safe to drop support for it. As python-future is not compatible with python 3.13 it is also desirable to actively patch it out.
