The Impact of Algorithmic Risk Assessments on Human Predictions and its Analysis via Crowdsourcing Studies

This repo contains code and data to reproduce the analysis in the paper "The Impact of Algorithmic Risk Assessments on Human Predictions and its Analysis via Crowdsourcing Studies" at CSCW 2021. In this work, we conduct an user study where crowdworkers are tasked with predicting future re-arrests for a series of criminal offenders while interacting with an algorithmic tool.
