matebook-applet only supports Huawei-WMI driver since 1.2.0, and only saves thresholds for persistence since 1.3.0, so recommending >=0.1 looks too optimistic IMO

Ah thanks! I would go with 1.3.0 then as there isn't yet any matebook-applet Debian package.

I'm working on it. Basics sorted out already, should be done this weekend (or maybe even tonight if time allows, but that's very questionable).

Done. Just in time before I need to run.
Done in quite some haste, so I'd really appreciate someone to examine the package and point out any glaring mistakes ;)
