Debugging
All debugging options are found in Settings. Tap on your profile avatar to reveal the left side menu panel, tap "Settings", scroll to the bottom, and tap "Advanced Settings", then being mindful of the precautionary text under "Dangerous and powerful debug..." tap that to see all debugging options.
In the Debug options under the "Operations" section, tap "Export logs" and select an export option.
In Debug options under the "Operations" section, tap "Export database." Depending on the size of your data it may take several minutes for the app to prepare your data for export. A zip file will be generated and iOS will prompt you with options available to you.
This is found under the "Configurations" options; by tapping on your profile name, then under "Statistics" you'll see the option to "Reset Forked Feed Protection". Forked Feed Protection is a simple fail-safe state used when Planetary is restoring your data. It checks the total number of posts in your keys and remains on until the restore process matches that number of posts. When restoring is complete, there are rare cases where your local number of posts differs from what others' records show during the data restoration. Tapping on "Reset Forked Feed Protection" removes this fail-safe and allows you to post on Planetary.
If you reinstall Planetary, the first thing you'll see is the "Let's get started" bar. You can click that to start from scratch with a new account but if you want your old account back, you should definitely not touch that button.
You'll also need to find your .ssb
folder, in your file system.
In the Debug options find the Add new configuration from secret >
option and follow those instructions.
