Regarding issue #2, the approach I took in 2b5b3b6 was to take one pass through clean2 reading every file and learning the pattern names from the title tags. In subsequent passes, replaced the anchor text in every link with the assumed correct titles from the first pass. I've discarded the numbers except in the index pages. When these patterns start moving around the numbers stop being meaningful.

Now - - how do I go about loading these into a fed wiki?

If you place this repo (patterns) along side the flat file page store (pages) then the build script will put the pages into the right place. You can find all the newly created pages by looking at [[Recent Changes]].
