Genome Maps can render data from a CellBase server, by default Genome Maps installed at University of Cambridge at http://genomemaps.org/ is using the default CellBase installation at University. The data repositories and species available in CellBase can be found in the wiki:
https://github.com/opencb/cellbase/wiki/Data-Sources-and-Species
you can also query the following REST web service:
http://bioinfo.hpc.cam.ac.uk/cellbase/webservices/rest/v3/meta/species
Genome Maps can also easily consume data from other sources thanks to its design. For example Genome Maps can visualize data from:
- EMBL-EBI EVA project at http://www.ebi.ac.uk/eva/?Home
- 1000 Genome Phase 3 project from OpenCGA installation at University of Cambridge
