Hi there,

I am currently working on modifying the ActuatorLine.f90 to include some additional options for my own simulations such as allocatable number of blades and selectable modes (turbine/engine). I was wondering if I could get a summary on the potential updates to Actuator Line and test cases that will be available in the near future.

Hi Step,

We have been working on porting the AL to the incompressible NS and multiphase solver, and in the future to gpu (the main core horses code is pushing in that direction). In addition, we plan to include more options in the future that can be couple with control of the wind turbine, ie. variable pitch, rotational speed and yaw. The test cases are modifications of the tutorial only for verification for CI purpose only.
