The Salty Simulations 747 is an open-source modification for the default Asobo 747-8 included in Microsoft Flight Simulator. We are dedicated to improving the default 747-8 to a level where it is enjoyable and realistic to fly.

Installation - Step 1

Development build

Please keep in mind that the development build might be unstable and potentially contain bugs.

Installation - Step 2

To install, simply copy the salty-747 folder to your community folder. Depending on the platform you bought MSFS on, the location of your Community folder will be different.

  • Microsoft Store - C:\Users\<USERNAME>\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_[]\LocalCache\Packages\Community

  • Steam - C:\Users\<USERNAME>\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft Flight Simulator\Packages\Community

  • Boxed - C:\Users\<USERNAME>\AppData\Local\MSFSPackages\Community

  • If you customized install location when installing MSFS (regardless of version) - <Install Folder>\Community
