General Specification

The cascaders project has been running within the School of Informatics for about 2 years now. There has been a need identified for software to run within DICE.

##Main points

• People need to be able to say if they are a cascader and what subject they are cascading
• People need to be able to search for a cascader
• Some sort of messaging system
• Logging of everything that is going on

##Deployment

• DICE have said that they are happy to install something as long as we give it to them as an RPM
• The server side will be run on Magnus
