If you can't make the behaviour reoccur on your own server, be aware that a vanilla AC server does not always behave the same way as the ChromieCraft server. There are numerous mods and other customisations on CC that can have unpredictable effects, and as a result bugs that are not reproduceable on a vanilla AC server are reported reasonably often.
