Avni data in Bahmni has been arranged under different visit types. All data related to one program is kept under one visit type.

Avni individual registration data

  • Visit type: Community Registration
  • Encounter type: Community Registration
  • Form (fully specified name): Individual Registration [Avni]

Avni program enrolment data

  • Visit type: $Avni_Program_Name Enrolment [Avni] e.g. Family Planning Enrolment [Avni]
  • Encounter type: $Avni_Program_Name Enrolment [Avni] e.g. Family Planning Enrolment [Avni]
  • Form (fully specified name): $Avni_Program_Name Enrolment [Avni] e.g. Family Planning Enrolment [Avni]

Avni program exit data

  • On the patient dashboard the number of visit settings should be such that all visits are visible, hence not putting any limit is recommended.
  • All Avni visits have to be kept open so that when updates happen in Avni they can be saved in OpenMRS.
