Make sure all players are on the latest version of Multiplayer as some internal networking changes were made

Changelog:

  • Debug mode option for hosting (available in dev mode)
  • New settings: transparent chat, autosave slots, aggressive ticking
  • Basic mod comparison is now done when joining (defs are compared)
  • Other players' selections and cursor dragging boxes are now visible
  • Storyteller settings changeable by the host
  • Chat ESC handling should be much nicer now
  • Right click on a replay to rename it
  • Right click on the host in chat to see their mod list
  • Click on the lag square to catch up to the server (when it's red)
  • Quit button during simulation
  • Red pause icon in the colonist bar for maps which are force pausing the game (e.g. when trading)
  • Fixed the arbiter randomly leaving, language related desyncs, orbital beams, transport pods and many other bugs and desync issues

Changes in 0.4.2:

  • Fixed the arbiter not joining, transport pods and caravan reforming

The protocol version is now 11. Replays from older versions will not work. Hosting from autosaves should work correctly though (this is indicated by a lighter "Outdated" badge). See the notes for release 0.3 for what to do to keep your save.
