TGC: Compact Version B
This version of the modification follows 0.96.6 release, and does not include Caucasus or South America map updates that followed. TGC Compact is for those players with lower end PCs, or those that simply dislike new (and planned) map expansions and a different focus of the mod.
Changelog since version A:
- Colonizer and the colonized religions: Experimental - This will allow traditionally colonizer religions in the timeframe to allow conversion of others in the same way e.g. Animist cultures in Africa convert. By default it will rarely happen, however with using the Government Missionary sponsored campaigns it will occur more
- Related to above, added new government campaign to boost conversion
- Due to number of new states in TGC compared to vanilla, taking states, colonies and puppets have received 20-30% cut in infamy cost per CB (eg. Acquire State 5 => 3.5)
- Enforcing Gendarme of Europe CB on target (forcing absolutist monarchy as Russia or Austria at someone) now has a chance, if that country has less than 3mil population to completely submit to the victor, and become a puppet.
- Prussia will now no longer pick to side with Russia in Crimean War if Russia owns Konigsberg
- Prussia will now have an option to side against Russia in Crimean War if Austria is neutral. If AI, if Russia owns Prussian cores, Prussia will ally Ottomans (Coalition side)
- War Torn modifier upon occupation of a province now gives more population damage
- Fixed a crash in Second Shiraz Legation, Persia event chain with Russia
- Cotton price reverted to $2 (testing)
- Reverted old nationalist province event MTTH, the changes made them happen frequently
- Removed pop militancy if country has settlement policy, and added infamy instead. This also had the side effect of non accepted state population having an easy -0.03 on militancy.

- Added province modifiers that will make the Turkish Revolt last longer
- Turkey will now properly shed debuffs from puppet era
- Greece will now properly core Smyrna state after Ionian Revolt
- Russia now gets Fate of Anatolia event after annexing rump Turkish Revolt with 4 options: incorporate into Empire as Anatoliyskiy Krai, add Greeks as accepted culture; Give Anatolia to Greece; Give Anatolia and Bosphorus to Greece; release rump Turkish puppet. If Greece is AI, it will become a puppet state in 2nd and 3rd option.
- If Russia annexes the region, it will have an event option to expel Ottoman Elite to Central Asia
- Ankara should no longer get to wild 50% soldiers, deported soldiers from the Balkans after liberations will first demote to farmers
- Rubber temporarily nerfed until a solution is found for 1880s crash (mostly coming from plantation events, to be tested)
- Western Bulgaria Vilayet will now properly be called as such after Crimean War victory
- New chosen capital foru Russia will now have precious goods
- Great Game CB will no longer become unavailable for player if it reaches close to the infamy threshold
- Vassals that are Dominions will have a far lesser chance to revolt
- Vassals that share the same culture group as overlord will have a lesser chance to revolt
- Boosted mine size for Constantinople after restoring the Ecumenical Patriarchy
- Historical governorate names for Yekaterinoslav and Kuban states
- Nerfed pop growth duration caused by Alexander's Reform to last from 8 to now 5 years
- Adjusted breadbasket modifier for Ukraine
- Yugoslavia and Zapadoslavia when formed by Russia will be Dominions, they will have a shade of green corresponding to mimic Russian substates in this specific scenario
- Changed flags of YUG/WSF dominion to correspond to that
- Zapadoslavia will now start with Sorbians as accepted culture and get cores on LUZ provinces
- British India Agencies will have shade of red to denote their status within British Empire
- Ireland as British Dominion will now use a shade of red
- Nerfed Homestead Act attraction and restricted its use, for example US will no longer be able to enact it if they lost lands beyond Mississippi
- Added immigrant attraction to South American countries from late 1880s onward (experimental)
- Significantly nerfed new world bonus on assimilating immigrants right off the boat
- Organizing tags in Africa will now require researching Economic Responsibility (1870) not Market Regulations
- Russia will no longer cede Subcarpathia when they form a Zapadoslavia puppet state
- Yugoslavia cores on Dalmatia and Macedonia fixed
- Ghost of Tito bug entering your campaign and miraculously freeing your Yugoslav puppet will no longer happen
- Fate of Armenia event for Russia will now properly add Armenian cores to Cilicia and core integration modifiers to Russia if they so choose to annex it
- Russia will now be able to keep using Gendarme of Europe CB if they're still reactionary and absolutist after Nicholas dies, and Alexander reforms were not enacted
- Nerfed Renovate the Capital decision from baby boom from 5 to 3 years
- Fixed a few effects in new Russian events
- Added about 30 impassable borders for micro provinces in Saxony/Thuringia to alleviate some of the gore having to fight a land front there
- Spanish is now accepted culture in all SA viceroyalties
- Hungary will now resemble the colour of Austria and start as a dominion gov type and accept South German culture if released in 1848 events
- Latin Union formation by AI will now require Germany to own directly or through a vassal Lombardy or Venice
- Fixed an issue where puppets of Germany would get inherited by LTU upon formation by AI
- Removed removal of small state cores when German Confederation is formed
- Introduced decisions to dismantle Latin Union and German Confederation. Now if you're at war with one of these countries, have the required technology and have decimated them in a war, you can dismantle them into several smaller states
- Fixed an issue of France retaining LTU cores after being dismantled
- Dismantled Latin Union tags should no longer become republics
- Dismantling LTU will now force France to also release Occitania and Bretagne
- Increased Russian aversion of colonial migration to Africa
- Capitalists will now require a basic luxury good of oil and rubber to be a stop-gap in the period between the two RGOs being discovered and industry starting to fully exploiting them
- Accepting cultures as Russia (western Slavs specifically) is now way stricter
- Some fixes and adjustments ported from master to compact
