Added only on Darwin, added in 8f00156 at the same time as the LDAP framework, seemingly unused, and `openldap` is slow and painful to build.
Should no longer be necessary now that we’re using Apple’s `cctools` again.
We no longer ship Python < 3.9.
Should no longer be required now that Meson doesn’t depend on it.
