This will be the "stable" release after which no API changes will be happening (until 2.x.x if it's ever needed). It's some ways away but it should include:

-> More flexible user system with more features (e.g. possibility to give "download tokens" and such to other in order to download your files, possibility to have "hidden" links which are public but only displayed to the user)

-> Built in safety features such as the possibility of native HTTPS and possibly two factor auth

-> Extra support for various file formats (e.g. being able to pretty-print small unicode files to the front end), being able to auto detect format and add and extension when none is given

-> Extra work should be done on the front-end, such as being able to compress and decompress the files directly on the front-end

-> Support for FTP/SFTP and possibly other protocols over TCP.

Some of the things included here should be made into issues and assigned to separate milestones, but until "it's time" to add them (or someone wishes to add them) I will just leave them here.
