Plexi Case

The Plexi Case is a Layered Plexi comprising of 4 seperate parts
There are two assembly options, the recent upgrade to the TFT module includes the protective glass, and you do not need to use the full top plexi... ...unless you really want to for aesthetic reasons.
- ff you have installed the stand-offs, remove the top screws.
- remove the thin film from both sides of the plexi on all pieces
With the top screws removed:
- Place the thin shim above the TFT Module
- Place the button cover plexi over the buttons
- Secure the screws on from the front face of the board (5 in total)
- Remove the nuts from the bottom of the board
- Place the bottom plexi over the buttons
- Secure nuts... ...enjoy
The full assembly requires the removal of the glass surface from the LCD module and is NOT recommended for new users
- Using a plastic shim tool like a phone glass remover or guitar pick, gently pry the glass screen from the LCD module
- Once the protective glass is loose from the rest of the TFT module, VERY CAREFULLY cut the 4 pin ribbon (NOT THE BIG RIBBON)
- Remove the protective glass
- Follow the steps for the Partial Assembly, but add the full front plexi over the TFT
- Enjoy
