Rubber particules are linked using a binder, usually polyurethane, and compressed in a mould with the desired shape. The applied pressure can vary, leading to different porosities and densities, depending on the final application. Here are some examples:
- Production of rubber tiles (video)
- Production of antischock paving (video)
- Production of gutter filters:
- Acoustic mat
- Fenders
- Gutter filter
- Moulded objects
- Playgrounds
- Rail filler block systems
- Synthetic turf
