The plugin hasn't been tested with an upcoming version of WordPress

There is an upcoming WordPress version in the release candidate stage that the plugin hasn't been tested with. Please test it and then change the "Tested up to" field in the plugin readme.

Tested up to: 6.5
Upcoming version: 6.6

This issue will be closed automatically when the versions match.

@vikrampm1 @jeffpaul I have tested Publisher Media Kit plugin against Wordpress 6.6 and it is working as expected.

Environment

• WordPress: 6.6-RC2-58622

• PHP: 8.1.23

• Server: nginx/1.16.0

• Database: mysqli (Server: 8.0.16 / Client: mysqlnd 8.1.23)

• Browser: Chrome 126.0.0.0 (macOS)

• Theme: Twenty Twenty-Four 1.1

• Plugins:

  • Publisher Media Kit 1.3.3
  • WordPress Beta Tester 3.5.5

@sudip-md @faisal-alvi the respective e2e tests on #195 are failing on WP trunk ~= WP 6.6... not sure if that's a tests issue or an issue in the plugin, but worth investigating before proceeding on 195.

@jeffpaul I think I have recheck the functionality of the plugin and it is working as expected. I think Set up WP environment was not setup in E2E test, so none of the tests were run. #195
