Will an “official” Homebrew formula be written for yt-dlp? Will yt-dlp ever be added to the Homebrew core tap?

You can create you own taps, that can be updated automatically. Homebrew/Linuxbrew formulae ("package" in other package manager) don't need to be in core taps.
