It's not a fail to have something like If the content is no longer relevant, this would constitute a failure. Hello,
I'm currently trying to figure out what I'm allowed to do with Heading elements (
<h1>
to<h6>
) and what not.My understanding I get from this WCAG 2.2 entry:

is, that the headings have to be in order
(h1 followed by h1 or h2, h2 followed by h2 or h3 etc.)
without gaps (h2 followd by h4 etc.)
or declines (h3 followd by h2 etc.)
unless the elements are part of different page sections.
But then in the example shown, a h3 is followed by an h2:
Now I'm confused and hope someone can clear things up.
