Conda packages are available on conda-forge

The VulkanSceneGraph Conda package is now available on conda-forge. If you use Conda, you can simply install the binary package as follows:

conda install -c conda-forge vulkanscenegraph

This package is compatible with Linux, macOS (both x86 and arm architectures), and Windows. The recipe can be found at https://github.com/conda-forge/vsgxchange-feedstock.

I've also recently been onboarded to Conda, and I find it quite useful. It's essentially a package manager and virtual environment, allowing you to develop projects with various dependencies without needing to install them system-wide.

Yes, it installs whatever files are included in the CMake install target. You can review the list of installed files at here or the build log of the feedstock repo.

How much work was it for you to set up the Conda recipes?

As an experienced user in adding new packages, it took me around a couple of hours to create the recipe and make necessary patches to pass the build, plus waiting for CI to finish the builds. Additionally, I waited about three weeks for the PR review.
