Bitrate selection menu appearing unexpectedly when following episode starts

Issue

After the last update it seems that the Bitrate selection menu shows up every time a new episode starts by either waiting the automatic timer or by clicking the |> next episode button.

Versions Used

• macOS 11.4 BigSur
• MacBook Pro (13-inch, M1, 2020)
• Google Chrome Version 91.0.4472.114 (Official Build) (arm64)
• Plugin installed from the Chrome Webstore Version 1.21

Also (if possible), any plans to enable 4K streaming on Chrome for macOS when using the Ultra HD plan?

Might be race conditions in netflix_max_bitrate.js.

@truedread Maybe you can take a look at jangxx fork: https://github.com/jangxx/netflix-1080p. This issue is fixed in his fork with multiple other improvements as well.

Can confirm, happens here as well, with current Version 1.22

I'm having the same issue with the random pop-ups on version 1.22, though mine appear at random times (not always after starting a new episode)

Same, it is random though, and extremely annoying as it happens quite often.
