  1. Identify the type of resource (such as network or local storage) needed to access a Wyng archive.
  2. Identify the VM dependency chain for that resource
  3. If any needed VMs are also VMs to be restored, take additional steps such as not shutting them down, and then
  4. Saving their volumes to temporary names
  5. Shutting down the VMs when wyng receive completes
  6. Finally renaming the volumes to their proper names
