Looks like I'm gonna be hung up looking for an alternative to spree_gift_card before I can go to 2.2. I think @JDutil is reimagining it... I'll probably wind up patching giftcard to work on 2.2 before his new extension is finished.

@dpritchett @sohara is working on an upgrade to 2-2-stable littlebitselectronics/spree_gift_card@master...2-2-stable as I've discussed working on porting existing data to the new solution with him here JDutil/spree_gift_card#49 just working with the existing extension is likely the best thing to do unless you can wait a month or two for the new solution to be finished.
