Browser History "back" and "forward" (popstate) Events

What would be the best way for a SolidJS app to react to popstate events and update the UI?

I have a list of data that I will display some fields in an index of records. I want to provide a search box (input element) for users to filter results across all fields. When the user presses the "enter" key the search term will be added to a signal and the URL search params.

1. Starting at the URL /
2. A search term of "super" is added
3. Resulting in a URL of /?terms=super
4. The search results are filtered based on the only term available: "super"
5. Another search term is added "happy"
6. Resulting in a URL of /?terms=super,happy
7. The search results are refined based on all search terms: "super" and "happy"
8. The user uses the browser back button
9. Resulting in a URL of /?terms=super
10. The search results are filtered based on the only term available: "super"

The user isn't navigating "back" using an app link to go back but using the browser navigation feature.
