In order to make the code more readable and hence maintainable, I decided it was time to give to each zone a standardized entity_id scheme. So I set rename_entities to true and each zone is defined by a a zone_id in order not to let the order of appearance in the config file to define it automatically. However it seems it has no effect even after HA reboot.
Am I missing something, however it seems to me that rename_entities has no effect.
Let me know whether more insight is needed.
Thank you
The following screenshot show that the entity_id is still c1_z10, however zone_id is set to 14 (it was 10 before) and I was expecting to have it renamed c1_z14.
