Possibility to extract in R format #292
Comments
R with data frames with factors is one xslt that I am usually configuring on all my instances, so from my side it would make sense (would save me a bit time setting it up on top of base installation). Alternative to adding more export formats that need to be maintained (I remember discussion in a past where we wanted to actually slim down number of export formats), there is always possibility of exporting in CDISC ODM and use R package (e.g. acobos/ox) to load the data. From longer time ago when I was evaluating it, I liked it more (ox model for data was for me easier to work with). Do you maybe know, does ox has some limitations compared to the xslt from Lindsay? |
I don't know: I never use R :-) Shall I ask Albert Cobos?

If you could ask, it would be great. From maintainability perspective I think focusing on core supported export formats is probably better. Extra xslt are pretty easy to configure for administrators. But if there would be high demand, we can add it. Then we however also need to be able to fix bugs in such xslt if detected. |
At lindsay-stevens/openclinica_scripts#5 there is an xslt which we could probably add to LibreClinica.
