Timestamps represent seconds since midnight Coordinated Universal Time (UTC) of January 1, 1970. As such, they are extremely large. Thus we are seeing rounding errors, where the timestamps are rounded in such a way that the model may not know to update when new ratings are appended to the ratings database.
