When using a tes3cmd/tes3lint command with multiple files sected, the command is executed for each file, as often as the number of selected files. For example, if two files are selected, the command is executed four times. With three, it's nine. This means that the number of command executions and therefore the time needed to finish increases exponentially the more files are selected.
