Speed limit parenthesis example (60)

I don't understand when the app displays speed limit with parenthesis, ie (60), that it does not appear to use the configured speed alert setting? It seems to beep at 5mph over the limit, in this case 65mph

The speed limit paranthesis appear when the last speed limit request to the server was not successfull or if the response was empty.
