We now support an inline HTML view for spreadsheets after #121. But there is more to do:

  • vertical scrolling does not work
  • support multiple sheets
  • show comments

Comments are fetched from the API the same as for docs but they are not displayed. For now users can switch to edit mode to see comments (if they have edit permission).

For now we can keep using preview as the default. However, the view mode is already useful for me to use Chrome's translation feature on simple sheets. There is also a link in the menu items to open as a preview in Google: the preview mode is translatable as well.
