I recently created a new function in ophyd-async which lets you easily move the motor from one position to another at constant speed. This hasn't been tested on real hardware yet

Together we can talk through the code in https://github.com/bluesky/ophyd-async/blob/main/src/ophyd_async/epics/motion/motor.py , and then decide how we can create a plan which tests this.
