I've taken a look at the protocol, and I'm excited to push Emory University onboard. What is the likely time commitment to participate would you say? My assumption is a couple of hours at most to generate the data via the supplied R packages, and then for any technical environment trouble shooting that is likely to come up.
In addition, it's worth noting that we, and other institutes participate in CURE ID and N3C, and so the data that is to be found in some tables will have much more detailed concept mapping than other concepts within the table or between tables. For example, COVID relevant concepts (e.g., diagnostic codes, antigen tests, and oxygen supplying procedures) will have possibly cleaner representation than other components. In your protocol, I didn't see a survey or anything that would possibly ask participating sites if they are participating in non-OHDSI network protocols. I don't think N3C is considered an OHDSI network protocol, so I'm wondering how you'd account for specific research participation in your assessment of the concepts mapped in a sites DB, as those research protocols often dictate priority of mapping (at least for us!).
Looking forward to it!
