Why still cropping imgs during validation phase?

Hello, thanks for your excellent work~
I find that during validation phase the data process still crop imgs, and this would decrease the fov of imgs, so why still do this procedure? Maybe at the test phase, the cropping process would be closed?

What's more, I notice that after resize and crop imgs, the camera intrinsic params don't be adapted accordingly. Do I miss something? Looking forward for your reply, thanks~
