Both have done some good work, but these repos have diverged.

It would have been nice if they had a list showing what features they've added/changed - commit msgs does not really give any clear clues... :-/

@cmcqueen: Back then, I started merging fixes as I need a stable picocom for my work. When I learnt about picocom-ng, I sent an initial batch of my changes there with the aim of merging the codebases (frankly, I am not super keen of maintaining another project). It seems, however, that picocom-ng stalled after the initial spark, so I continued with my version.

@UffeJakobsen: you might like my release notes then?
