New upstream (until Nick comes back) #137
Comments
New version 2024-07 available now: |
It looks as though Nick might not be coming back.
What is a good repo to carry on picocom? I see Both have done some good work, but these repos have diverged. |
It would have been nice if they had a list showing what features they've added/changed - commit msgs does not really give any clear clues... :-/ |
@cmcqueen: Back then, I started merging fixes as I need a stable picocom for my work. When I learnt about picocom-ng, I sent an initial batch of my changes there with the aim of merging the codebases (frankly, I am not super keen of maintaining another project). It seems, however, that picocom-ng stalled after the initial spark, so I continued with my version. @UffeJakobsen: you might like my release notes then? |
I have my repo now here:
https://gitlab.com/wsakernel/picocom
And the 2023-04 release is finally out:

Please have a look and report issues there!
