Issue 47 was opened for this and was summarily closed because ti couldn't be duplicated. This is now another issue opened for the exact same thing. So there must be a correlation. I am running into this same exact issue when I try to upgrade. I am going from 4.1.7 to 4.2.1. I have upgraded many times and many times I get this error. I think I eventually get it to work by commenting out ALL of my plugins then turning them back on one by one. This is getting extyremely irritating. My first issues is:
django.core.exceptions.ImproperlyConfigured: Application labels aren't unique, duplicates: netbox_floorplan

This can be easily replicated and it happens with EVERY plugin I have. There are no duplicates. So where is django finding a duplicate?

Please let me know as I can get any relevant files or information needed to get a solution for this for any of those who face this now and in the future.

EDIT: I also have Sentry and have this error sent to there so I can provide more details if you need as well.
