Progress indication sometimes isn't appearing for .mov files #8
Comments
Ah never mind, it came through, just took a very long time. So it worked, but no progress indicator or anything was kinda strange. |
Are you able to add information about the mov file? File size, encoding, which app originally had exported/saved it? |
Sure. File Size: 21.8 MB Not sure which app originally created it as it was sent to me by a friend, but I believe it was a cell phone video, likely from an iPhone. |
It looks like the app is freezing for me when I drop a .mov (pretty small, 6MB, 10s) |
+1 I initially thought the program didn't convert .mov's, when I dropped a .mov exported from "Voila" app, nothing happened After a while I noticed the "convert" tasks and later on a converted .gif on the same folder, but no indicators from the UI (that's why I dropped the same .mov 4-5 times initially) |
I can't reproduce. Is one of you able to share a non-working video file? Also, could one of you try this Terminal command, try to convert, then paste the output in here?
Alternatively see if the |
Just tested again, both the GUI and the CLI, works as expected with the same video, might have been a first launch thing |
@kaansoral I can confirm the first launch thing. |
I have a ~30 second .MOV file. When I drop it into DropToGif, I see the first frame flicker in the app, then nothing. Doesn't appear convert it or do anything.
