Audio not being detected

Using the latest release of Tachyon 1.2.14, my desktop audio isn't getting picked up. I've tried selecting all audio sources. However, the audio is picked up on OBS and OBS with FTL. I don't like using OBS with FTL because of the added latency.

you have added latency in obs FTL ? What are your streaming settings?

It's like a subtle second of latency. I've matched my settings with the one listed on the OBS with FTL release page. Maybe its just me but I can see a difference in latency.

1 second is not expected using the settings provided. Normal behavior under optimal conditions is 250ms. Again this varies by encoder, NVENC for example is almsot exactly 1 second of delay. Would you mind getting a more accurate value. simplest way to do this is to go to https://www.google.com/search?q=stop+watch and use window capture on obs to grab that window then put the beam ftl stream window next to the stop watch google window and take a picture where you can see both at the same time. subtract one from the other and see where you end up. If you're truly getting 1 second let me know your ingest, and roughly where you live.

I meant to say its 1 second of added latency. Didn't mean to say that it was just 1 second. I'll test again later in the afternoon with the latency but to my original issue, do you know why Tachyon doesn't pick up my computer's audio?

@sslivins Did a test with Tachyon and OBS w/ FTL. For Tachyon, I got a consistent 300ms delay. For OBS w/ FTL, I got 800ms - 900ms delay.

Same issue here. Desktop audio is not being captured. Settings are all at defaults.

I've found out that this is only an issue mainly with MSI computers and their audio drivers. I have two MSI computers, both have Realtek drivers and utilize the "Nahimic" audio enhancement software. With other sound devices, Tachyon will detect it.
