Summary

Especially in views where there is plenty of horizontal space, such as list view, labels should not be collapsed into a single item. This is at odds with how most other systems, including GitHub issues, handle this.

Why should this be worked on?

The usefulness of labels is severely limited if only one or two can be displayed at once. It dissuades users from adding more than one or two labels, reducing the usefulness of label-based organization.
