X-Blades: Cant set resolution

Launcher seems to work fine with Xalia barring the play and exit buttons not working (Proton issue, not related to Xalia), but i noticed that i can't actually change the resolution using Xalia, pressing a on the resolution box just swaps between highlighting and unhighligting the box without triggering the dropdown menu, weirdly enough if I move my stick up, sometimes the drop down list of resolutions will appear, but they vanish instantly if I try to move down and select them.

I spent a lot of time on this launcher before finding out it doesn't work on Proton. :(
