Needs a README explaining what the motivation for the project was.

I see a README was written after this issue was opened. I think this issue can be closed! Setting the project URL to the URL for the demo would be nice but isn't very important.

I'm not sure that the current README explains why the project exists,
nor does it place Spine within the context of the other JS libraries
that cover similar ground to help developers make a reasonable choice
about whether or not they should use it, but I don't mind.

@maccman the description is also not very helpful (A Backbone alternative idea). Todo list implemented with Spine JS library would be much better (easier to search on Github, easier to remember why I starred this).

@lazyatom Comparing with other JS libs is not the point of the README imho.
