crash after writing five asterisks between spaces, a letter and pressing enter #11616

Current behaviour

  1. create a new note with a name
  2. write:

* * * * * text

  1. press enter

Now joplin automatically writes a new line with an asterisk and crashes.

additional info

asterisks can be more than five, but not less.
text can be a letter, number, word

Expected behaviour

joplin does not crash

Does this still happen with all plugins disabled (in particular "Search & Replace")?

Edit: I can reproduce this issue locally.

For comparison, I'm attaching the version information for my version of Joplin (where I can't reproduce the issue):

I can reproduce this in CodeMirror's try-it editor. I've opened an upstream issue.
