Does browser integration work out-of-the-box with the Firefox Snap again?

Hi,

I noticed yesterday that the Browser Integration feature seems to be working again with the Mozilla Firefox Snap. This is neither a bug nor a feature request, so I don't know whether there is a good way to report this, because all the help pages still seem to say that the feature should not work.

This may be a permission change for the Firefox Snap. The browser has also gone back to being able to open file: URLs recently. For a time, this was impossible as well. I do not know whether this is intended or whether I have messed something up with the configuration. Does anyone know more about this?

Some Configuration Details

I use Ubuntu 22.10 Desktop. Firefox is installed from the current latest/stable Snap, KeepassXC through APT from the PPA. Here is some info output that may be relevant:
