While this is blocked for now, I wanted to add some notes discussed at the ATN data meeting today. Since we are continuing to archive data to NCEI over the next few months, we wanted to make sure that we can get ahead of this by tracking these linkages in a spreadsheet (or other simple docu) as things come in, to ensure that when it comes time to implement it won't be a large lift to figure out what belongs to which project.

Action items and takeaways from meeting:

  • @mmckinzie already has a tracking spreadsheet to map between DataONE archive to NCEI archives, yay!
  • @mmckinzie will also plan to add links to the NCEI archive in the associated DataONE metadata record (ISO) as we progress
    • Note: Once updated, Axiom will still have to re-archive each DataONE data package, in order to push the new information into the DataONE record

Lots more to discuss on this milestone for next year.
