Why does using the json or text function in a destructured function

Calling the following API fails with an error

app.get("/", ({ json }) => json("Hello! Edge Flags!"));

//Error

Trace: TypeError: Cannot read properties of undefined (reading '_status')
    at json (index.js:157:30)
    at index.js:1236:28
    at Hono.dispatch (index.js:1186:15)
    at Hono.fetch (index.js:1087:19) {
  stack: TypeError: Cannot read properties of undefined (re….js:1186:15)

However, app.get("/", (c) => c.json("Hello! Edge Flags!")); works. I spent 30 mins figuring out that it's the cause of my error.
